Privacy Policy

We collect the minimum data required to run AnimationFunnel. We never sell your data. Form responses belong to the workspace that owns the form — not to us. Respondents should read the policy of the form owner for decisions about how their data is used; this policy covers what we do as the processor.

AnimationFunnel is operated by the team behind animationfunnel.com (“we”, “us”, “AnimationFunnel”). For privacy matters you can reach us at [email protected].

For accounts and billing, we act as the data controller. For submissions collected through forms you build, we act as the data processor on behalf of the workspace that owns the form.

Account data. Name, email, hashed password, team membership, billing address, and payment metadata from our payment processor.

Usage data. Pages viewed, features used, device and browser metadata, approximate location derived from IP, and error reports. We use this to keep the product running and fix bugs.

Form submissions. Whatever a respondent enters in a form the workspace has built. The workspace chooses what questions to ask; we store the answers as a processor.

Communications. Support messages you send us and our replies.

• Provide, operate, and improve the product.
• Authenticate users and protect accounts from abuse.
• Process payments and issue invoices.
• Send transactional emails (receipts, security alerts, account notices).
• Send product updates — you can opt out any time.
• Debug issues and monitor system health.
• Comply with legal obligations.

We rely on the following legal bases under the GDPR: contract (to deliver the service you signed up for), legitimate interests (to keep the product secure and improve it), consent (for optional cookies and marketing email), and legal obligation (tax, accounting, and law-enforcement requests).

We share data only with vetted sub-processors who help us run the service. Current categories include:

• Cloud hosting and database providers.
• Payment processor (Stripe).
• Transactional email provider.
• Error monitoring and product analytics.
• Customer support tooling.

We do not sell personal data. We do not share data with advertisers. A current list of sub-processors is available on request to [email protected].

Account data is kept for as long as your account is active. Form submissions are kept until the workspace deletes them or closes the account. After account closure, active data is deleted within 30 days; backups roll off within 90 days. Invoices and tax records are kept as long as the law requires (typically 7–10 years).

Our primary infrastructure is in the EU. Some sub-processors operate outside the EU/EEA. Where required, transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses plus additional safeguards.

We use a small number of first-party cookies: a session cookie to keep you logged in, a CSRF token, and a preferences cookie. We use one privacy-friendly analytics cookie to understand aggregate usage. We do not run third-party ad trackers on our marketing site.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete your personal data, and to object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We respond within 30 days.

If you are a form respondent, contact the workspace that owns the form first — they are the controller of what's in the submission.

We protect data with encryption in transit and at rest, least- privilege access, audit logging, and regular security reviews. See our Security page for details.

AnimationFunnel is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we'll remove it.

When we make material changes we'll notify account holders by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect, and update the date at the top of this page.
